Jo Clapton has bought in Waterford Rise
Jo Clapton has been renting in Waterford Rise for 3 years and loves it so much she is building a new home there in 2021.
She moved to Warragul from Croydon “on a whim” and hasn’t looked back. Jo has a lot of experience with new estates as she is a sales consultant for Rawdon Hill Homes.
She will be managing their new display home in the new display village when it opens later this year.
“I relocated to Warragul on a whim and didn’t know much about the area. I selected Waterford Rise because of its proximity to the freeway and the feel of the estate,” she said. Jo said the atmosphere, and the strong sense of community, were also key to her choosing Waterford Rise.
“Waterford Rise is established, with gardens and greenery, and there is a good community group. Everyone’s pretty friendly and look out for one another,” Jo said.
She said there are regular community events including Christmas, Halloween and regular BBQs.
Jo will, naturally, be building a Rawdon Hills Home close to the Hamilton Park wetlands in Stage 67 (Conventory).
”You get the country feel without being in the country”
“Waterford Rise overall is convenient, has good quality homes, open spaces and wetlands. You do feel like you’re in a very green area. You get the country feel without being in the country,” she said.
Jo said Warragul is an up and coming area with its recent population growth attracting a lot of new retailers and restaurants. “There is a new full size Bunnings, Kmart and a new Homemaker centre and Fountain Gate is just 30 minutes away on the freeway.
“Warragul is like a hidden gem that has just been discovered by people escaping from the congestion of South East (SE) Melbourne and it’s still more affordable than Pakenham, Clyde or Officer” she said.
